Lyrics
There's a song in my headDon't know how to describe it
Cause I don't even know if it's good
Get this feeling on paper
Say goodbye see you later
Thinking 'bout us when days pass by
But I hope to buy you diamonds
I hope to buy you a car
I hope to buy you anything
But I've got nothing at all
I hope to buy you watches
A penthouse with a pool
That someday people say of us
They've spend money like a foo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-ool
Place one foot for the other
Does it hurt does it bother
Without music where do I begin
Switching jobs I get nothing
Boy I need to get something
'Cause I'm trying so hard to fit in
But I hope to buy you diamonds
I hope to buy you a car
I hope to buy you anything
But I've got nothing at all
I hope to buy you watches
A penthouse with a pool
That someday people say of us
They've spend money like a foo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-ool
Still I need this feeling to know that I am free
Life should be ‘bout making music but it would never be
But I hope to buy you diamonds
I hope to buy you a car
I hope to buy you anything
But it won't matter at all
Your last penny in your pocket
You would throw it far away
Cause life is not about the money
It's about the things you say - ay - ay - ay - ay - ay – ay
It's about the things you say - ay - ay - ay - ay - ay – ay

Lyrics
There you sit, so weak, so sadAll curled up, so fragile, feeling so bad
It has never been colder
My friend, you can always cry on my shoulder
I remember, so proud you were and so strong
So full of life, the world for you to belong
I see your sadness and it breaks my heart
To see your world so fallen apart
It has never been colder
But you can always cry on my shoulder
Stay strong, my friend
Belong, my friend
For day after day
Your hurt will melt away
And if things ever get colder
You can always cry on my shoulder

Lyrics
It's a clear sky, nothing passing by
and the sun, full of grace, lays a kiss on my face
No clouds anywhere, even time isn't there
Just breathing the air, and the joy - that we share
Clear sky, no reason, no why
Your kiss, full of grace, puts a smile on my face
Shining through the tears, let go of your fears
And welcome the air, and the time - that we share
It's a clear sky, so much passing by
and the sun, full of grace, lays a kiss on my face
Looking in your eyes, I see the clearest skies
I love all that we share, thanks - that you're there

Children's Songs (in Dutch)
© 2018 Jeroen Buse
The children's songs on this album are sung in Dutch.
They are cheerful songs that are great fun for toddlers
and young children, inviting to move and sing along.
The songs are sung by Lisa Poelma. Her beautiful and clear voice fits perfectly to these songs!
The lyrics and the music were created and played by me.
The illustrations for the CD and the CD inlay were made by Ramona Treffers.
Her beautiful illustration style was exactly what I was looking for for this CD!
Overview of the songs
Track 1: Two Little Captains (Dutch: Twee kapiteintjes)
This song is about two little captains on a ship.
During the song, their ship gets in worse and worse shape,
you can hear the mast break and the ship becomes a wreckage.
In the last chorus they have no ship anymore, they just float around in a barrel...
Track 2: Sprout Monkey (Dutch: Spruitjesaap)
This song is about a small monkey, that does not like bananas, but Brussel's sprouts.
The whole family is calling the monkey to come into the banana tree, but it wants sprouts.
So the little monkey searches and searches, here, there and everywhere,
with fingers and toes, under rocks and stones, but sprouts seem nowhere to be found...
But then, finally, it sees a sprouts bunch, races towards it and plucks a small sprout.
Track 3: Sprout Monkey in the Jungle (Dutch: Spruitjesaap in het oerwoud)
The lyrics are the same as in the second song, but – to depict a jungle – extra percussion and various animal sounds are added.
I recorded the animal sounds with permission in Burgers' Zoo
Track 4: The Crocodile with the Very Long Snout (Dutch: De krokodil met de lange snuit)
This song is about a crocodile with a very long snout, who likes to talk very much.
But because of it's long snout, it talks very, very, v-e-r-y slow...
So everybody falls asleep...
The crocodile gets angry that nobody listens and storms off.
And that's why crocodiles keep their snout under water!

Acoustic Guitar Music
© 2016 Jeroen Buse
For this album, I played an Alhambra Crossover guitar, strung with Aranjuez Concert Gold Set 700 Low Gauge strings.
Track 1: The Light Sun After Heavy WeatherThis is an up-tempo song, depicting heavy weather, after which an at first softly shining, light sun appears.
It starts with a 9/4 up tempo beat, and changes tempo, volume and beat many times, including 8/4, 9/4, 10/4 and 11/4 beats.
A challenging and fun number to play.
Track length 3:34 m:s.
Track 2: A Walk In The Forest
Walking up and down the fretboard throughout the song, it's like walking in an old, beautiful forest.
Open strings throughout the song give it it a spacious effect.
Track length 3:31 m:s.
Track 3: Dreamy
A calm, dreamy song, perfect to relax with.
Lots of room, with emphasis on tone and expression.
The song has three keys, and switches between them several times.
Track length 3:44 m:s.
